Description
Cromwell’s Ruin Gin is a creation born in Corfe Castle, Dorset. Carole & Terry own and operate the Village Stores, stocking an amazing 350+ gins, many locally produced, and they wanted a gin that would reflect their local area, and their personalities, for their vibrant shop in Corfe Castle. They foraged just a few minutes from the shop and gathered Wild Chamomile and Elderflower blossoms. With these as the signature aromas a gin was built around them with Juniper, Coriander seed, Chamomile and Lime. The result is a subtly sweet, floral fragrance, with a soft and supple palate displaying a little warmth from the Coriander, a solid Juniper core, and a little citrus zing from lime at the finish. There is a definite sweet meadow aroma on the nose, followed by the floral elderflower, giving this gin its unique and appealing character.
